There’s a verse that has shaped my life: “Write the vision and make it plain, so that he that sees it will run.” That’s deep, right? But here’s the truth—many of us are not failing because we are not capable… we are failing because we don’t WRITE things down.
Think about it—how many times have you carried a powerful dream in your heart, only to forget or water it down because you never wrote it? Instead, you drift into something else that wasn’t even your original vision. That’s how purpose gets lost.
💡 Here’s the secret:
Writing your goals, visions, and plans makes them real. When you place them where your eyes will always see them, they stop being mere thoughts and start becoming a lifestyle. Every day, you’re reminded of who you are, what you want, and where you’re going.
I’ll share something my mentor once told me—one of the keys to academic excellence. Before a semester begins, write out all the courses you’ll take and boldly assign yourself a score of 100 in each. Why 100? Because the target you set determines how you’ll work towards it. If you aim at 100, you either hit it or land close enough to excellence. But if you set your sights low, you’ll always remain low (Relate this to other life areas and not just academic).
📌 The trick is to paste those goals where you can see them daily. Wake up, see them, meditate on them, and work intentionally towards them. Over time, they sink deep into your subconscious and even influence the kind of people you attract—suddenly, your circle aligns with your vision.
So my people, odogwu and achalugos, stop storing visions only in your head. Smiles, is your brain a computer? 😂 Better start writing them down today!
- The more you write, the clearer it becomes.
- The clearer it becomes, the stronger you work on it.
- And the stronger you work on it, the faster your vision becomes your reality.
So go ahead write it. See it. Live it. Achieve it.
